Singam II is an upcoming Tamil film directed by Hari, starring Suriya in the title role with Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Vivek and Santhanam playing supporting roles.[1] The film is a sequel to Singam (2010).

Casting

Anushka Shetty and Hansika Motwani are the lead ladies of this project.[2]Hari has also repeated Vivek, Vijayakumar, Nassar, and Radha Ravi from the first part. Holl Prakash Raj has been left out while Rahman and Mukesh Rishi have been added to the cast. British actor Danny Sapani has been roped in to play the antagonist character.[3] The music will be by Devi Sri Prasad. Priyan will handle the camera.[4]Anjali has shot for an item number in Singam 2.[5]

Filming

The film has been shot in Chennai,Kerala, Hyderabad, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli and Karaikudi. Hari will film some of the songs, important scenes and fight scenes in Durban,South Africa. And while coming to post production V. T. Vijayan has started to prepare for his edit with his assists and equipment.[6] The film's first look was officially released on 26 January 2013 on Republic Day.[7]
